We thought we’d point everyone to one of the best resources for any student interested in applying
into emergency medicine: the EMRA Medical Student Advising Guide (MSAG).

If you’re an EMRA member, you should have received a physical copy of this with your new member kit, but if not, have no fear: the MSAG is available online for free at the link above! In terms of bang for your buck, this and EMRA Match are two of the greatest resources for students that EMRA produces.
Each chapter will discuss a different topic from why you should choose this amazing specialty to the nitty gritty about what SLOEs, ERAS, and VSAS are, all in one convenient place. Give it a read and make sure to bookmark it for later as you reach different points in your medical school journey.
