Hello there! My name is Kenneth Kim, and I am an MS3 at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and your 2020 CalEMRA Medical Student Council Chair. Let’s get to some questions that I’m sure you have: What is the CalEMRA MSC?
The CalEMRA MSC is the medical student body within CalEMRA (California Emergency Medicine Residents Association), itself the resident body within CalACEP, the California chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians. All this to say that we, hopefully like you, are a group of medical students interested in and excited about joining the specialty of emergency medicine! As an
MSC, we are here for YOU. Our main goals are to inform students about the field of emergency medicine, foster inter-school relationships, and help students as they apply into emergency medicine. We hope to do our best to serve you in whatever you need to be as successful a student and future emergency medicine physician as you can be!
